BHADERWAH, June 7: Rich tributes were paid to martyrs including Ruchir Kumar of erstwhile district Doda.
The martyrs to whom tributes were paid had sacrificed their lives for the integrity of India, when militancy was at peak in district Doda. They also prevented Kashmir like migration of minorities from district Doda.
The function started with “Dhawaj Aarohan” at Balidan Sathal of Ruchir Kumar at Vasakdera, Bhaderwah, followed by hawan at Balidan Samarak, Bhaderwah.
Prominent among those who paid tributes to the martyrs were Ashok and Vidya Parkash Koul.
