JAMMU, Jan 4: Floral tributes were paid to martyr Sepoy Raj Kumar Shourya Chakra on his 18th death anniversary at Jaganoo.
The function was organized by Martyr’s family in collaboration with J&K Police and Aware India Foundation along with HSS Jaganoo.
Speaking on the occasion students of different institutions highlighted the contribution of Martyr Raj Kumar.
Pushpa Devi, mother of the Martyr paid tributes to late Raj Kumar and observed a two minutes silence in respect of the Martyr.
Speaking on the occasion Sahail Mahajan, Dy.SP; Sanjeet Kumar, chairman BDC Jaganoo; Ashok Kumar, former Director Sports Shrine Board; Mohd Ismail, Naib Tehsildar Jaganoo; Satya Devi, Principal HSS; Romesh Verma, brother of the Martyr and others threw light on the sacrifice made by the Martyr during his short span of service in Police Department.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Sahdev Singh, Sarpanch Jaganoo; Mohan Lal, Naib Sarpanch; Romesh, Vimal Sharma, president AIF; Surinder Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, member AIF; Pawan Kumar, Sham Lal, Neelam Devi, Sunny Verma and others.
