DODA, Aug 16: For commemorating martyrdom of Late Naib Subedar Chuni Lal, Ashok Chakra (Posthumous), Vir Chakra; the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah under Delta Force organised wreath laying on the statue of brave Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) the other day.
The occasion commenced with laying the wreaths on the statue of the brave soldier, Naib Subedar Chuni Lal, by Commanding Officer, Rashtriya Rifles, remembering, the ‘son of soil’ on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations, as an apt recognition of the supreme sacrifice made by the gallant Junior Commissioned Officer, followed by the wreath laying by the other important personalities.
