JAMMU, July 13: Rich tributes were paid to Comrade Dhanwantri on his martyrdom day.
Jammu Kashmir Freedom Fighters’ Association (JKFFA) in a function held here today at Dogra Shourya, Ambphalla Jammu remembered the freedom fighter Martyr Comrade Dhanwantri on his martyrdom day.
The function was organized by the JKFFA Chairman Ved Gandotra and Vice Chairman Rajiv Mahajan. Floral tributes were paid to the great freedom fighter of Jammu, Comrade Dhanwantri who worked along with other freedom fighters for the freedom of the motherland. Candles were lit in the honour of the great Martyr and two minutes silence was observed in his honour. The members, who participated in the function, were SS Kazmi, Karnal Chand, General Secretary, JJ Singh, RR Raina, Karan Gupta, Gaurav Kumar and others.
To commemorate the death anniversary of Comrade Dhanwantri, a meeting was organized at Jammu by the Comrade Dhanwantri Manch today. The meeting was presided over by former president of Jammu Bar Association, senior advocate DK Khajuria and proceedings were conducted by the convener of the Manch, Hari Chand Jalmeia, Advocate.
DK Khajuria, Hari Chand Jalmeria, Uday Chand, KK Koushal, Abdul Rouf Lone Advocate, Subhash Mehta, Dewan Chand, Ravi Singh, Ashwani Sharma and Kuldip Singh expressed their views and paid tributes to Comrade Dhanwantri.
