Tributes paid to Captain Raja Ram Kaith

JAMMU, Feb 14: Tributes were paid to Captain Raja Ram Kaith in a function held at his native village Garhi here today on his first death anniversary.
The programme was attended by Defence personnel belonging to Batwal community.
Captain Raja Ram Kaith after his retirement from the Indian Army had contributed tirelessly in all aspects of social service whether it was practical assistance to others or community activities or raising funds for charity.
While paying tribute, his associate RL Kaith said the Captain touched the lives of many through his work as a social worker and was a well-respected Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association. His death has left a great big void in many people’s lives, he added.
With a mission to make sure that he should not be forgotten,  Captain Raja Ram Kaith Memorial Executive Committee was established with Capt Darbari Lal Sargotra as Chairman, Capt Kamal Dass Kaith, Capt Kamal Chand Motan, Capt Ram Lal Sargotra, Capt Om Parkash Tugga, Sub Maj Romesh Sargotra, Sub Maj Gunni Ram Kaith, Sub Baldev Chand Sandhu, Sub Hans Raj Kaith, Hav Rattan Lal Motan, Hav Uttam Chand Sandhu, Hav Ganesh Lal Kaith, Hav Des Raj Kaith and Hav Gandherb Ram Motan as members.
Among others present were Ramesh Kaith, OP Sargotra, Naib Sarpanch Ram Lal Lakhotra, Shankar Dass Kaith, Bisso Ram Kaith, Munshi Ram Lakhotra, Devi Dass Kaith, Piara Lal Lakhotra, Numberdar Sat Paul Lakhotra, Harbans Motan, etc.
