This has reference to the news item ‘Udhampur Martyr Tushar Mahajan’s parents meet Dr Jitendra DE March 22. The proposal to name Railway Station Udhampur after martyr Tushar Mahajan deserves appreciation.
It was long overdue. It will be a befitting tribute to a soldier who laid down his life for the country. His name and deed will certainly inspire young generations to imbibe sense of duty and love for the country.
The Home Ministry should have no objection in clearing the file pertaining to it reaches its office.
Dr Jitendra Singh while interacting with his parents has very well said “Nothing is enough to honour the memory of Capt Tushar nor can there be enough of consolation for the parents who have lost their son”.
