JAMMU, May 31: The 56th Shaheedi Divas of Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath was observed with great reverence and devotion at Sant Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara, in Bishnah today.
On the occasion, F C Bhagat, Chairman of the Sabha, GR Bhagat and several distinguished speakers paid rich tribute to the martyr and highlighted his invaluable sacrifice, courage, and commitment towards society. The speakers emphasized the need to preserve and promote the ideals of patriotism, social harmony, and selfless service exemplified by Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath.
Floral tribute were offered and participants recalled his contributions with deep respect. The gathering also called upon the younger generation to draw inspiration from his life and dedicate themselves to the service of the nation and humanity.
A large number of devotees, social activists, and local residents attended the function and joined in paying homage to the revered martyr.
