Tribute paid to martyrs of 26/11 terror attacks

JAMMU, Nov 26: Various social and political organisations paid tribute to 26/11 terror attacks martyrs here today. In this regard to remember the Martyrs of Mumbai attack of 26-11-2008 a function was organised by Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA).
The function was organized by the Chairman of the Association Rajiv Mahajan. During which floral tribute were paid and Candles were lit in their honour among chanting of the National Anthem with Tri-color waving in hands of all the present members.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahajan strongly condemned the role of Pakistan which was responsible for feeding the terrorists and spreading terrorists all over the world from its main land.
The members asked the world community to declare Pakistan as rouge state and pressurize it to control and end terrorist activists from the country.
The members also praised the Indian Army, Security Personals and Jammu & Kashmir Police, for bravely fighting the Pakistani terrorists and also paid tribute to the Rajouri Five Army officers and Jawans martyrs who fought bravely and laid their lives, while securing the common citizen in Rajouri.
Karnail Chand (General Secretary), Pritam Sharma (Vice President), Ravinder Mittal (Advisor), Parbhat Kapahi, Kamal Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a similar function was also organised by the Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit.
All the present party leaders, including party state chief Manish Sahni, lit candles and saluted the brave security personnel who made the supreme sacrifice and expressed their deep condolences to their families.
Speaking on the occasion Sahni said, “On 26/11-2008, on the instructions of Pakistan, 10 terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba had carried out this nefarious and cowardly act in Mumbai. In which about 174 people including 20 security personnel and 26 foreign nationals were killed and more than 300 people were injured.”
Sahni said that we will have to take strict steps and send terrorism and its masters to hell.
Among other who paid their tributes included Meenakshi Chhibber, Vikas Bakshi, Rajesh Gupta, Raj Singh, Shishpal, Mangu Ram and many others were present.
