JAMMU, June 14: The training in traditional & folk art of Duggar organised by Progressive Youth Society Ramnagar Udhampur in collaboration with Ministry of Culture Government of India at Roun Domel Udhampur concluded today.
In the valedictory function, Dr Gurdit Singh Ex –director Agriculture was the chief guest where as Prof Hans Raj Sharma was the guest of honour. Ramesh Chander Senior fellowship awardee from Ministry of culture presided over the function.
The function started with welcome address of Manoj Kumar Sharma, president Progressive Youth Society which was followed by presentation of folk dance of Duggar by trainees students of Standard Institute.
Sat Paul, senior Lecturer, Chain Singh, Ms Meenu Thakur and others were also present on the occasion.
The vote of thanks was presented by O P Deepak, coordinator Progressive Youth Society.
