KARGIL, Mar 15: The four-days training programme for investigation of theft cases for Investigating Officers of District Police Kargil today concluded successfully here.
The inaugural lecture of the training was delivered by Syed Mujahid-ul-Haq, DySP Hqrs Kargil.
The training started with simulation exercise of a theft case along FSL team followed by lectures imparted by different trainers covering all aspects of investigation, right for registration of FIR to completion of investigation and final disposal of the cases.
The training included a mixture of theory and practice with classroom exercises and realistic field exercise. At the conclusion, there was assessment of trainees and feedback was sought from them regarding the training programme.
In the valediction ceremony today, Dr. Vinod Kumar, SP Kargil said that aim of the programme is capacity building in the investigation which is critical to the police organization.
At the end of valediction, participation certificates were distributed among the trainees by SP Kargil.
Nawang Tsering, Dy. SP DAR Kargil, Nawang Nurbo, Sr. PO, Kargil besides other officers of District Police Kargil were also present on the occasion.
