Train traffic to Katra, Udhampur restored

JAMMU, Sept 9: After remaining suspended for three days, train traffic to Katra and Udhampur was resumed today.
According to R N Meena, Divisional Traffic Manager Northern Railway, the train traffic to Katra and Udhampur has been fully resumed following restoration of the track, which had got damaged at some places due to flash floods and landslides.
A team of Railway Engineers, headed by Principal Chief Engineer restored the track for traffic, which was damaged near Bajalta, Sangarh and Manwal, he added.
The train, which had got stuck near Udhampur on September 5, is also reaching Jammu late this night.
