UDHAMPUR, Feb 19: In a tragic incident near Khoon area of Udhampur district, two individuals were killed after their motorcycle was struck by an unknown vehicle.
The deceased have been identified as Sushant Sharma, a resident of Ramkot area in Kathua district. The identity of the pillion rider remains unidentified.
According to sources, the accident occurred when the motorcycle, with registration number JK08-7243, was hit by the unknown vehicle, causing both riders to lose their lives on the spot.
Police were alerted to the scene and immediately transported the bodies to the Primary Health Center (PHC) Majalta.
Majalta Police have registered a case and begun an investigation to identify the vehicle responsible for the collision.
