SRINAGAR : Traffic was on Saturday resumed on the 270-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway after remaining suspended on Friday in view of weekly maintenance of the only all weather road linking Kashmir valley with the rest of the country.
Meanwhile, the 86-km-long historic Mughal road, connecting Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region, was put through after remaining closed on Friday due to fresh snowfall and slippery road condition.
