JAMMU, Sept 22: Two cops of Traffic Police Department were suspended for assaulting each other.
As per police sources, two cops of Traffic Police Department namely SgCt Ravi Kumar and Constable Sadam entered into verbal dual over checking of documents of a vehicle near Kachi Chawni.
Later, both the cops had heated arguments and they assaulted each other.
On getting information about the incident, the higher authorities of the Traffic Police Department suspended both the cops.
When contacted, SP Traffic City Pardeep Singh confirmed the suspension of the cops.
An inquiry has been initiated for the misconduct of the cops, he said, adding that the inquiry will be conducted by DySP North Traffic Shivali Kotwal.
