Traders to keep watch on Spl Assembly Session: CCI

JAMMU, July 3: Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Jammu president, Rakesh  Gupta today said that traders will keep a close watch on the Special Session of the J&K Assembly being held from Tuesday.
An emergency meeting was convened today at Chamber House under the chairmanship of CCI Jammu president Rakesh Gupta wherein a large number of Market, Trade and Industrial Associations participated.
While describing the conduct of Special Assembly Session at Srinagar  a step taken in right direction, CCI chief said that this move will help in smooth and early implementation of GST in the J&K State.
It was discussed and decided in the meeting to keep close watch on special Assembly session and identify the politicians who are hell-bent upon to plunge the State into the deep economic crisis, threatening the livelihood of lakhs of  traders and industrialists.
The CCI members/ traders unanimously decided that any politician who opposes the implementation of GST irrespective of political party, shall not be spared for his illogical and unjust stand. The Chamber president assured all the presidents and secretaries of the associations that GST shall be implemented in the state in next few days.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included Rajesh Gupta,  Manish Gupta,  Rajeev Gupta,  Gaurav Gupta, Ashu Gupta and others.
