Sir,
Our children are citizens of tomorrow. It is therefore important that right kind of education is imparted to them in schools. But today we notice decline in the system. In order to raise the system some radical measures need to be taken in hands for improvement of the system.
To pave way for quality education we need dedicated teachers. Dr Radhakrishnan said, “Until and unless we have dedicated and committed, teachers who take to teaching as a mission in their lives, we can’t have a good educational system. So the teachers should be the best minds of the country. Secondly, the infrastructure in schools is ineffective to meet the demands both from teachers and students as well. Some kind of quality standards has to be evolved or defined and implemented strictly in all schools around the country. Mere reservation system in the IITs and IIMs for backward classes will in no way help, it will only kill the golden goose. The need of the hour is developing more schools and colleges like IITs and IIMs and spread them across all corner sof the country. Besides, granting of national/state awards in favour of the deserving ones among the teachers fraternity has to be increased. Higher pay scales should be introduced in the system so that meritorous ones will opt for the job of a teacher. It is time for the Govt to wakeup and shakeup the education system.
Yours etc…
