JAMMU, Oct 10: The staff of Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority today contributed for a terminally ill youth of Kathua.
Dr Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority told that all the officials of Tourism Development Authority Lakhanpur Sarthal have voluntarily contributed for a terminally ill youth of Kathua namely Rakesh Kumar Sharma, whose father Khushi Ram Sharma of Shastri Nagar Kathua approached the authority sometime back and requested for financial help for his ailing son, who is suffering from multiple diseased conditions and whose treatment cost runs into several thousand rupees per month.
Dr Bharat Bhushan handed over collected money amounting to Rs 10,600 to the father of the youth and assured that authority officials who have always remained in the fore front to contribute for flood victims, earthquake victims and for red cross activities will try to help the ailing youth in future also.
He thanked all his officials for the help and Amar Nath, Retd Senior Lecturer who has been in the forefront in raising funds for the treatment of youth. All the officials present on the occasion prayed for health of youth.
