JAMMU, June 1: The residents of Dream City, Muthi today protested against the failure of the PDD authorities in restoring the transformer in the area which is out of order since yesterday.
Addressing the protestors BJP district rural general secretary and ex-corporator, Omi Khajuria has warned the authorities that in case they failed to replace the transformer in the Colony by tomorrow the people will resort to road blockade on Monday.
He said despite the repeated pleas to the concerned authorities of PDD no steps were taken during last two days to install the transformer in the Colony and the people of the area were put to lot of trouble in this sweltering heat.
