JAMMU, Nov 22: To discuss the modalities for the organisational elections scheduled to be held next month, a high level team of J&K BJP leaders led by party president of UT, Sat Sharma today called on national president of the party and Union Minister for Health and Chemicals and Fertilisers, J P Nadda at New Delhi today.

Sharma was accompanied by party general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, national secretary, BJP and MLA Jammu South, Dr Narinder Singh and BJP vice president, Aseem Gupta.
The party leaders discussed the progress of ongoing membership drive in the UT and the leaders from J&K apprised Nadda that the party will surpass the previous record during this year’s membership drive.
While discussing the strategy for organisational elections in the UT, the BJP leaders informed the Minister that by next month the process for the holding elections on district, Mandal and booth levels will start which will be completed by ending December.
It may be recalled that the membership drive of the party was delayed in the UT of J&K and State of Haryana due to Assembly elections in the month of September and October which has been started early this month.
