SUCHETGARH, May 21: AAP leader (also District Development Councillor for Suchetgarh), Taranjit Singh Tony while asserting that only AAP can fulfill aspirations of J&K people asked the people to support and strengthen AAP for overall development of J&K.
Addressing a gathering after starting blacktopping work on a road leading Sai to Jabowal Kotli in Suchetgarh today, the AAP leader said that the road project has fulfilled 70 years old demand of the people of this area regarding road connectivity especially at zero line villages.
He said that people of the area had raised the demand of this road before various political parties even during their rule but ultimately only AAP has fulfilled their long pending demand.
Tony said, though canal in the area has been de-silted yet the water does not reach tail-end from village Sae to Jabowal which is adversely affecting the agriculture in these areas.
He also sought directions for making Tube Well irrigation, lift irrigation and canal irrigation functional so that farmers do not face any inconvenience as far as irrigation of their fields is concerned.
Those who were present on the occasion were Bobby Chauhan, Mandeep Choudhary, Sarpanch Shamsher Singh and others.
