SUCHETGARH, Nov 6: AAP chairman J&K for Administrative Engagement and Minority Affairs and District Development Councillor, Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony flayed BJP for claiming that ground situation is normal in J&K.
Speaking at a function of road blacktop inauguration at a border village in Suchetgarh, he demanded restoration of Statehood and Assembly elections in J&K at the earliest.
The blacktopping of road work was inaugurated by Joginder Kaur, Naib Sarpanch and senior citizen of the village.
Tony lamented that as per the existing ground situation, daily wagers, teachers, reserved category employees, etc are staging protests for their genuine demands but the government is not paying any heed to their issues. “The PM Package Employees who became soft targets of the terrorists are also on protest seeking postings outside Kashmir at safe destinations and their demand is further justified by the latest migration of Kashmiri Pandit families to Jammu in the previous week,” he maintained adding: “Not only this but even the reserve category employees from Jammu posted in Kashmir are staging protests for their posting in safe zones of Jammu but the government prefers to remain in deep slumber.”
Panch Balvinder Choudhary, Panch Jessa Choudhary, AAP leader Mandeep Choudhary, Ex Sarpanch S. Bachan Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
