Toll Plaza on National Highway IA

Sir,
The people are protesting against the installation of Toll Plazas since there is no justification in charging extra amount in the name of Toll or user fee on Jammu Pathankot National Highway 1A at Raj Bagh Chadwal and Sarore Adda. There is massive anger and resentment against the Govts as are collecting road tax or cess from each vehicle and already charging two percent cess levied on petroleum products for road development. People condemned the installation of the Toll Plazas.
It is an extra burden on the innocent persons and the tourists thus hitting the tourist industry and trade. Toll booths are hurting people because it increases the cost of transportation and price of commodities. The commuters are asking for the rationale of installing Toll Points when they are paying various taxes. People pay taxes when they buy a vehicle and fuel, then they desire good roads.
The National Highway Authority of India responsible for development, maintenance and  management of National Highways needs to feel that development of roads should be oriented towards the road users and not the contractors. Toll  collection centres are becoming a burning issue but it need to redressed at the earliest.
Yours etc…
