JAMMU, Jan 21: District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC), Jammu president, Ranjeet Singh Tohra has been nominated to the National Commissioner for Minorities as member.
A spokesman of the DGPC Jammu while quoting Government order said that Ranjeet Singh Tohra, president, DGPC Jammu has been inducted as member of panel of community leaders for the National Commission for Minorities (NCM)in states for advising the Commission on respective minority community issues in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. An order in this regard was issued by the Union Government on January 16, the spokesman added.
