TIRUMALA, Jan 4 : TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Sunday informed that the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan on the sixth day was progressing smoothly. He informed that on the fifth day (Saturday), a record number of nearly 89,000 devotees were provided darshan.
Addressing the media, Chowdary said with the support of AI-based queue management systems, Sarva Darshan devotees were able to have darshan within 12 hours.
He further stated that all departments are working in close coordination and continuously monitoring queue management to significantly reduce waiting time.
He assured that until January 8, officials will continue their concerted efforts to ensure hassle-free darshan for all devotees.
Earlier , the annual Pranaya Kalahotsavam was celebrated in a grand and traditional manner here on Sunday evening as part of the Vaikuntha Ekadasi festivities.
He stated that the Pranaya Kalahotsavam was conducted strictly in accordance with Agama scriptures.
Deputy Executive Officer Lokanatham, other officials, and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
