JAMMU, July 28: Continuing crackdown against people engaged in illegal mining in Akhnoor area, Chowki Choura police today seized a tipper loaded with sand.
“The tipper bearing Registration Number JK02AK-7538 was carrying sand mined illegally from Chowki Choura area but Chowki Choura police foiled the attempt and seized the tipper,” a police official said.
He said in last one month, Akhnoor and Chowki Choura police on the direction of SDPO Akhnoor, Ajay Sharma, have seized several vehicles engaged in illegal mining or transportation of mining material.
