JAMMU, July 28: First International Invitational Online Club Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2020, organised by Atul International Taekwondo Academy (AITA) in collaboration with Korean Cultural Centre, India got underway.
The event is being held under the banner of J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA), while the event was sponsored by Universal Sports Industries, Jalandhar.
The videos of the online competition was judged by referee panel including Grand Master Satwinder Singh Vohra (England), Grand Master Baert Erik (Belgium), Grand Master Song Jae Seoung (Korea), Grand Master Lee Wan Yong (KCC India), Master Atul Pangotra (India) and Master Zhang Qi.
The clubs who secured places in the Intermediate and Advance Male/Female Colour Belt Division (Regular/ Elite) included Alfra Club, HK Taekwondo Cosmopolitan Club, Bahrain Taekwondo School, Al Khobar Lions Taekwondo, Evolution, Dowongyuleui USA/ Baztekhan USA, Victory Taekwondo Sports Academy, Reyan’s Taekwondo Academy, Taekwondo Club Kang, Atul International Taekwondo Academy, S Tiger, MTC, Shield Taekwondo Academy, Orchids International, Orchids International School Malad, Kim’s Taekwondo Centre and AITA Kargil.
Both divisions of team India stood at top by clinching maximum Gold medals.
