POONCH, Mar 26: The police seized two vehicles including a JCB for illegal mining in Surankote area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that taking action against illegal mining mafia, Surankote Police lodged an FIR and seized Tipper and a JCB for illegal mining in Sanai area of Suran river. Driver / Operator of vehicles seeing the police party run away from the spot.
In the incident of illegal mining case an FIR No. 39/2022 U/S 379/431 IPC and 3/4 Damage to Public Property Act stands registered at Police Station Surankote and investigation initiated.
