KISHTWAR June 4: A driver was killed when the tipper he was driving fell into a nallah at Sarthal, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar police station.
As per police sources, a tipper bearing registration number JK02AW-2293 plunged into gorge at Sarthal, resulting into serious injuries to the driver.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to District Hospital, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body of the deceased identified as Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Doda was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
Kishtwar police has taken cognizance in this regard.
