JAMMU, Feb 18: Tiny Tots Hr Sec School, celebrated its Annual Cum Sports Day function in the School Grounds at Sainik Colony today. The chief guest for the day was Kavinder Gupta .
Bubbling and excited Tiny Tots of Kindergarten Classes welcomed the chief guest with showers of rose petals. The Presiding Officer for the day was Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East.
Gurpreet Handa the director of the Tiny Tots Group of Schools presented the welcome address.
Dr Vikram Handa the Principal of the school read out the annual report and highlighted the achievements of the school.
The chief guest declared the meet open by lighting the torch which was carried around the field by Dupinder Singh accompanied by the position holders of the previous year including Ifra Anjum who had secured the second position in Class 12 board exams and Abhilasha Sharma and Aayisha Irshad who had secured 17th and 19th positions respectively in Class 10th board exams.
This was followed by the guard of honour presented by contingents of different houses led by the captains of the School.
The chief guest congratulated the management for organising such an event and said it was extremely well co-ordinated and encouraged the students to continue taking part in such activities. Also present on the occasion were the chairperson of Handa College of Education, Veena Handa, Roman Fathima , Col Sidharth Singh and Deepali the Director of Handa College. Dr Vikram Handa , the Principal of the school congratulated the students for performing so well in all the activities. Mrs Kiran Zutshi presented a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and guests present for the day.
