SAMBA, Nov 1: Ramgarh police today arrested a smuggler and seized a truck loaded with illicit timber.
On specific inputs, police party from Ramgarh Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a truck (jonga) bearing registration number JK02B-9151, police sources said.
During search, police recovered illicit timber, he said, adding that the driver of the vehicle identified as Mohinder Singh, son of Sham Singh of Dabbad, Bishnah has been arrested.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Ramgarh Police Station and investigation started.
