Tigress

Tigress

You cannot tame a tigress,
Not even in a princess fortress.
You cannot keep her in a royal cage-
She’ll turn your throne into a stage.
If she finds a single flaw,
She will clip you with her claw.
She’s most ferocious when you cut her grace-
Then you’ll find your final place.
Don’t you dare to cause her blunders,
She will strike you with her thunders.
She is a warrior, born to fight,
Even in distress, she claims her right.
She lived for long on the lonely side,
But she will die with a hundred’s pride.

Summer Is Here!

The sun is shining big and bright,
It fills the days with golden light.
The sky is blue, the trees are green,
The prettiest sights I’ve ever seen.
Leaves dance gently on the trees,
Birds sing songs in the morning breeze.
The flowers bloom, the grass grows high,
Little clouds drift through the sky.
The air is warm, the days feel slow,
I walk outside and let it go—
The busy thoughts, the school-time race,
Now summer gives me breathing space.
I love the way the world feels clear,
So full of life, so fresh, so near.
The trees, the wind, the skies so wide—
Make me feel happy deep inside.
So here I smile, with no more fear,
My favorite time— Summer is here!

The Art of Letting Go

It’s strange how a person can mean everything to you one day,
And then slowly, they become someone you no longer reach for.
A heart doesn’t break and forget all at once.
It unlearns, day by day.
And in that quiet undoing,
You begin to remember who you were before them.
And then
One morning, you wake up,
And their name isn’t the first thing you think of.
The weight is still there,
But you’ve learned how to carry it differently.
Like a scar that no longer stings,
The scar that only reminds.
