Jammu, July 25: Tiger Division celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas at Tiger Auditorium in remembrance of supreme sacrifice of soldiers during Kargil War of 1999. Over 350 Officers and Jawans including veterans attended the function.
The celebration began with a short movie on ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ followed by interaction of Radio Jockey’s from 92.7 BIG FM with soldiers. The Radio Jockey’s Sarang and Manas conducted the programme and played special songs to revive the proud memories of the soldiers who valiantly fought and laid down their lives to safeguard the sovereignty of our country in the highest traditions of Indian Army. The four finalists of Benadryl Big Golden Voice (BBGV), Anjusha, Aseem Sharma, Ricky and Sushmita Banerjee sang patriotic songs for the audience. The event was decked with display boards of Kargil heroes and brief of battles fought by the Indian Army.
