KISHTWAR, Feb 22: A fire broke out today in a three-storey residential building in Thalaran Kuriya area.
According to the reports, at about 3:30 pm, a mysterious fire broke out into the house of one Ghulam Hussain son of Abdul Jabar Malik at Thalaran Kuriya.
Locals started rescue operation and they were joined by Fire tenders from Kishtwar. After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control but by then a portion of 3-storey building had suffered losses. Some house hold items were also damaged in fire incident
However, no loss or injuries to human life was reported. As per preliminary reports, the incident occurred due to LPG leakage in the kitchen.
Police has started investigations. Meanwhile, district administration rushed relief material including ration, blankets etc from Red Cross for the effected family.
