RAMBAN, Feb 22: A young girl died after she fell down from a moving scooty in Ramsoo area.
According to the reports, Ikra Iqbal (23) daughter of Mohd Iqbal, resident of Tulbagh (Banihal) was riding on a scooty as a pillion from Ramsoo towards Banihal, last night.
While reaching at Nachlana area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Ramsoo at about 9:30 pm, the girl fell off from the moving scooty due to unknown reasons and sustained serious injuries.
The badly injured girl was immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital Banihal, where she was declared as brought dead by the doctors. Today after conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
In this connection, Ramsoo police had registered a case FIR Number 14/2021 under Section 279/304 A of IPC and started further investigation.
