Three killed in Kashmir highway accident

Srinagar : Three people were killed when a car, in which they were travelling in, met with an accident on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway this morning, official sources said here.   They said a car skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Panthal bridge on the highway.   Rescue operation was immediately launched by police, Army and paramilitary forces and locals, they said, adding that all the three occupants of the car were killed.   The deceased here identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed, Tariq Ahmad and Sajad Ahmad, all residents of Nowgam Verinag in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.  (Agencies)
