Three injured in separate road mishaps

JAMMU, May 4: Three persons including an SPO of J&K police was injured today in two separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a rashly driven car bearing temporary registration number JMUPJ-6417 hit a stationary rehri loaded with watermelon near Tali Morh, Janipur around 2 am today and injured two persons sleeping near the rehri. The injured persons identified as Nadeem Ahmed and Shabu, whose other particulars were not known, were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
Meanwhile, a speeding bike today hit and injured a pedestrian identified as SPO of J&K police identified as Kamal Singh (50) son of Thoru Ram, a resident of Manyal Brahmana (Kanachak), at Indra Chowk. He was also shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another mishap that occurred at Bagu-e-Bahu, an auto bearing registration number JK02AE-6087 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Vansh Prakash (20) son of Om Prakash, a resident of Bagh-e-Baghu. The injured was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In all three cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
