Three injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Aug 14: Three persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police official, a Senior Grade Constable of Traffic police identified as Sushma Devi wife of Inderjeet, resident of Ramnagar (Udhampur), was hit and injured by a speeding bike at Amphalla while she was performing her duties.
An unidentified male pedestrian suffered serious injuries when an unknown vehicle hit him near Vishal Mega Mart in Kunjwani area. Similarly, a 60-year-old woman namely Sheela Devi wife of Bhagwan Dass, resident of Nano Wali (RS Pura) received serious injuries after she fell from a moving bike at Poiper, RS Pura.
All the injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter in all three cases.
