SRINAGAR, May 13: Police arrested three gamblers and recovered Rs 4240 stake money at Soura area.
A Police spokesman said that a police party of police station Soura raided a gambling place near Law College Nowshera and apprehended three gamblers identified as Shabir Ahmad Dar, Hilal Ahmad Ganie, both residents of Vichernaag Nowshera andAjaz Ahmad Khan, a resident of Zari Mohalla Lal Bazar.
He said the playing cards and stake money of Rs 4240 were recovered from the gambling site and Police has registered a case FIR No. 64/2018 under Section 13 of Gambling Act in this regard.
