JAMMU, Feb 21: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested three persons for snatching gold chain and iphone.
As per police sources, on October 13 last year, a complaint was lodged by Shivan Kohli, son of Vikas Kohli of Talab Tillo Gole Pully District Jammu with Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating that on October 12 some unknown persons snatched his mobile iPhone 11 Pro and gold chain near cremation ground Shastri Nagar.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 168/2020 under Section 382 and 34 IPC was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar rounded up three suspects, who during questioning confessed their involvement in the case and were arrested.
The arrested persons were identified as Chandandeep Singh alias Chandu, son of Slinder Singh of Trikuta Nagar, District Jammu, Amandeep Singh alias Aman, son of Atma Singh of Narwal Pain Satwari, District Jammu and Vikramjeet Singh alias Punjabi, son of Malkeet Singh of Fatehpur Punjab, at present Narwal Pain Satwari, District Jammu.
On their disclosure, 2 tolas gold chain and one iphone 11 pro were recovered.
Further investigation is going on to ascertain their involvement in any other cases.
