JAMMU, Mar 11: Parade and Nagrota Police arrested three absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Parade led by SI Lalit Sharma under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Raghubir Singh and SDPO City Sharad Kalu conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused was identified as Dhiyan Chand, son of Dhani Ram of Khawaspur RS Pura District Jammu who. He was evading his arrest in a case registered under Sections 457 and 380 RPC with Police Station Pacca Danga.
The accused was produced before the court of Sub Judge Court Jammu and has been finally sent him to District Jail Ambphalla.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar apprehended two absconders identified as Chankar Singh, son of Krishan Lal of Chaka Rajgarh District Ramban involved in FIR Number 317/2014 under Sections 279, 337 and 338 RPC and Shaqoor Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed of Pernoth District Ramban.
It is pertinent to mention that two different arrest warrants under Section 512 CrPC were issued against the absconders namely Chankar Singh and Shaqoor Ahmed. They were produced before the JMIC Forest Court Jammu for further proceedings.
