SAMBA, Mar 11: Samba police solved a recent attempt to murder case registered at Police Station(PS), Ramgarh and arrested three accused involved in the commission of the crime.
A Special Police Officer (SPO), namely Arun Kumar posted at P S Ramgarh was attacked brutally with sharp edged weapons by some unknown persons with the intention to kill him causing grievous injuries. The accused persons fled away from the spot leaving behind the police official in a pool of blood who was later shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.
A case FIR No. 19/2022 U/S 307/353/382/34 IPC 4/25 Arms Act was registered at PS Ramgarh and investigation started.
SSP Samba, Dr.Abhishek Mahajan immediately constitute a special team led by SHO Ramgarh, Inspector, Asha Nand, under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Vishal Manhas for the arrest of absconding persons involved in the attack.
During the course of investigation, the police team developed leads and conducted raids at different places in and out of the district Samba and finally succeeded in apprehending the accused persons from Nanke Chak, Samba.
The accused have been identified as, Ranju Choudhary son of Late Kuldeep Raj of Kathar, Ramgarh, Atul Choudhary alias Ravi son of Mohan Lal
of Trindi camp, Ramgarh, Vasudev alias Shunu son of Late Som Dutt of Shahzadpur, Ramgarh.
During sustained questioning the accused confessed their involvement in the crime. Further investigation into the case is going on.
