Thousands throng ‘Dragah’ on Urs of Sufi Saint Baji

RAJOURI, Jan 9: The annual Urs of Sufi Saint, Nanga Baji Sahib (RA) was celebrated at the residence of his grandson and a revered Sufi Saint, Sayed Muzaffer Hussain Shah, who is popularly known among his followers as `Baji Sahab’.
Thousands of people cutting cultural, regional and religious divides from across the length and breadth of the region descended down to Brohi village of Kalakote to hear sermons of revered Saint Hazrat Syed Muzaffar Shah, on the final day prayers of ongoing Urs.
Like last year, this year also thousands of devotees paid obeisance to have the Sufi Saint. During Urs free langer (community kitchen) was organized for the devotees.
On this occasion, special prayers were held for the peace and tranquility in UT of Jammu &Kashmir and the country.
