RAJOURI, Apr 15: Some thieves barged into a house in Thanamandi town and decamped with Rs 10 lakh cash and gold ornaments last night.
Official sources said that thieves broke opened the house of one Waheed Murad Wani, son of Late Latief Wani, in Ward No. 2, Thannamandi during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday and stolen Rs 10 lakh cash and some gold ornaments. The family had gone to the house of relatives.
They came to know about the incident during morning and then reported the matter to Thanamandi police, which registered a case and started investigation.
