JAMMU, Aug 12: Unidentified thieves broke into a parked vehicle near Palm Island Parking and fled with valuables, including an iPhone, cash and important documents.
Police sources said the incident took place when the owner, Tarun Singh Rakwal, had parked his Toyota Hilux in the area. They said the culprits smashed the vehicle’s window and took away a purse containing an iPhone, an ATM card, Rs 20,000 in cash and several important documents.
Following Rakwal’s complaint at Police Post Canal, police have launched an investigation to identify and nab the accused.
