Thieves decamp with electronic gadgets worth lakhs

JAMMU, Apr 14: Thieves struck in an electronic showroom and decamped with electronic gadgets worth lakhs in New Plot area, falling under the jurisdiction of Rehari police post.
As per police sources, thieves struck in an electronics showroom on the name and style “Dee Kay Electronic Showroom” at New Plot and decamped with 6 LED, one AC cover and some cash.
The owner of the shop Dalip Kumar, a resident of Janipur witnessed the locks of the showroom broken in the morning and informed the police.
On getting information, police team from Rehari police post rushed to the spot and took cognizance of the matter.
To arrest the thieves is somehow not possible as no camera was installed in the showroom by the owner.
Meanwhile, thieves also made a vain attempt in another electronics showroom “Khajuria Traders Electronic Showroom” in New Plot.
The thieves tried to break open the locks but after noticing movement of some persons, fled from the spot.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Rehari police post and investigation started.
