SAMBA, June 22: Thieves decamped with valuables during broad day light from the house of Bodh Raj and Bikram Singh, both sons of Ami Chand in Karalia village of Ramgarh Police Station today.
Bodh Raj said that he had gone to a relative’s place and when he returned to his house he saw, the whole belongings and house hold goods were scattered.
He said that Rs 22,000 in cash from his house and Rs 18,000 in cash from Bikram Singh’s house was stolen besides the thieves fled away with six tolas of gold.
The police was informed about the theft and it registered the case and started further investigation. However no one was arrested.
