JAMMU, June 12: Unidentified thieves targeted a house at Amphalla area here today and decamped with two tolas of gold and Rs 35000 in cash.
Owner of the house, Geeta Devi wife of Ramesh Kumar of Ambphalla, said the incident happened when they were out to participate in the last rituals of one person in their locality.
According to her, while the main gate of the house was locked, the doors were open when the incident happened.
On the complaint of her husband, Ramesh Kumar, police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law and started further investigation into the matter.
