DODA, May 4: Cops at Police Station Doda today solved a theft case and arrested the accused and recovered the stolen property.
On receipt of a complaint, a case in FIR number 104/2026 under relevant sections of BNS was registered at Police Station Doda after which a Police team led by SHO Police Station Doda was constituted.
The team put hectic efforts and apprehend the accused identified as Basharat Hussain, son of Faizullah, resident of Amritgarh Chiralla, Doda and during interrogation, he confessed to the commission of the offence and also disclosed the location of the stolen property.
Acting on his disclosure, cops recovered four geysers, six kitchen sinks, one paint bucket and other items.
Further investigation into the case was underway.
