JAMMU, Aug 28: Kullian police arrested a thief and recovered a stolen vehicle from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Kullian Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a youth riding on Activa Scooty bearing registration number JK02BF-5661.
During scrutinizing of documents, it came to fore that the vehicle was stolen from New Plot on August 23. The police arrested the youth, who has been identified as Sohan Lal, son of Suraj Parkash of Rehari Mohalla.
The arrested youth and the stolen vehicle were handed over to Bakshi Nagar police station as FIR in this regard stands registered at said police station.
Police team headed by Incharge Police Post Kullian ASI Gurmeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Miran Sahib Police Station Inspector Sanjeev Chib.
