JAMMU, Dec 2: With the arrest of the accused involved in a theft within two days of occurrence of theft the police has claimed to solve a case of theft in a temple at Dogra Hall Jammu.
Acting swifty within two days of theft, Parade police recovered the stolen items and arrested Rahul Gill S/o Jyoti Gill R/o Dogra Hall, at present Kot Bhawal Central Jail. Cash worth Rs 1995 along with dan patar and temple bell at Vishwakarma Mandir, Dogra Hall, Jammu, was recovered from his possession.
The arrest was made by Summit Sharma, Chowki Officer, Parade Ground under the guidance of Mahish Sharma, SHO Pacca Danga and under the supervision of SDPO, Kulbir Handa. The FIR is lodged under Section 457/380 RPC. The theft occurred on the intervening night of November 29 and 30, 2013 and the FIR was launched under Section 457/380 RPC.
